Esta ciudad es el mayor centro de recreo en Isztria y por eso la llaman la Riviera d Isztria. A lado de su efecto en el turismo, Poreč como ciudad histórica, conservo su importancia cultural y intelectual. La rica tradición turística, los acogedores hoteles, los modernos conjuntos de recreo, los bosques verdes y la vegetación mediterránea hacen su aporte a la rica oferta y al desarrollo. Es un verdadero paraíso para los numerosos turistas y deportistas. Hay una gran oferta de vida nocturna también. Varios clubes discotecas, bares y noches de bailes en los patios son excelentes divertimientos.
