Außen findet man eine großflächige, überdachte Terrasse, zudem hat das Elternschlafzimmer einen eigenen Balkon. Im Haus auch große, offen integrierte Küche mit u.a. separatem Backofen und Mikrowelle. Nur schwedische TV-Sender zur Auswahl im Haus. Das zugehörige Naturgrundstück ist teilweise abfallend und uneben. Es ist möglich, im See direkt unterhalb des Hauses zu baden, ein richtiges Badeufer findet man jedoch 2,8 km weiter bei "Pägertjärn" mit einem schön angelegten Badebereich und Angelcamp. Dort kostenloses Angeln für Kinder, ansonsten ist ein Angelschein erforderlich. Der kleine, örtliche Laden ist nur einen Teil des Sommers über geöffnet. Alternativ fährt man nach Torsby, etwa 25 km weiter, zum Einkaufen. Dort gibt es eine gute Auswahl an Geschäften und Restaurants.
